So today I thought I had a field inspection with Aspen Field Services and it was a disaster. First I was given the wrong address, then I find out that there was a scheduling mix up and I wasn't actually the notary assigned to the job. From now on I'm confirming all appointments directly with the client first. I even has my baby with me and thank God she did very well on a 2 hour drive round trip, slept half the time.

I finally gave in and downloaded the chatGPT app. AI is running rampid and everyone is using it. I realized that my business will fail of I don't adjust. I know the Lord is with me and my business and I know I cannot keep living in the past using tools that don't keep up with competition anymore. 

Starting my first auto loan course tonight. I'm really enjoying this journey and all the knowledge im gaining. I still can't wait to get my first notarization.

I've been doing a ton of research on requirements for notarial acts when conducting a signing. I take my job very seriously. I found out that many notaries near me do not know the basics of a notarial act or what certificates are. I have also been trying to find a notary that will mentor me with questions I cannot find the answer to. I see many videos from a few notaries on YouTube that encourage new notaries to reach out to their local community of notaries for help. I have had no such luck. Any one I talk to either doesn't understand what their job really is or doesn't want to talk to me. So I have decided to become a mentor to anyone who is struggling like me. I have had a couple calls from clients that didn't work out and part of that is because I didn't have the proper knowledge that I do now. I'm learning that most people don't understand the severity of what a Notary Public actually do let alone have ever heard of a notary. So every week I am going to post a video on YouTube and social media of my journey as a Notary Public. Anyone who finds me is more than welcome to reach out to me with any questions and we can work together to help our communities understand more effectively what we as notaries actually do and why we charge the prices we do. My number one piece of advice is READ your state handbook. 9 times out of 10 the answers you need are in your handbook. However, I do understand that the wording used can be difficult to understand.
